We had the pleasure of Tru Groove perform at our wedding. What can I say, they were absolutely fantastic. Tasita was brilliant to communicate with, extremely flexible and friendly. I felt like I knew her before we'd even met. Myself, my husband and ALL of our guests were blown away once the music began - I don't know how many of our guests said, 'where did you find this band, they're amazing!!' Tru Groove certainly got the party going with stunning vocals and even interacted with us all on the dance floor with 'sing offs' and the limbo. We all had so much fun and couldn't have asked for a better band! Looking forward to seeing you all at the Jam House again soon! Lauren & Ste xx

Sensational Experience

I generally am not the kind of person who writes reviews, ( I normally cannot be bothered if I am totally honest). However for Tru Groove I had to make an exception and share with you my sensational experience.
I hired Tasita and Stuart to entertain a small group of my closest friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. Well it's safe to say thanks to this gifted duo we had an awesome time.
The room came alive with Tasita's effortless vocals and Stuart's passionate control of the keyboard. It wasn't long before they had us all dancing , singing and behaving like teenagers rather than middle aged women.
Thank you both for making it my best EVER birthday celebration. Wishing you well.
A Delight to Work with!

Tru Groove performed at our Wedding. They were part of our Church Ceremony with their Gospel Chorale and continuing with an evening performance with the Band and Stuart stayed behind to DJ until late in the night.
I can't do their service justice with my words. Stuart was a delight to work with from start to finishing in the organisation prior to our wedding, in fact they were the best supplier we dealt with. Friendly, Flexible and Great Communication.
The Gospel Chorale was even better than we hoped/expected having not heard them in advance. They performed four songs and each sounded amazing, as if there were more than the 4 singers. Each had the voice of an Angel! The whole congregation raved about them afterwards and they can expect more bookings in the future!
We had seen the Band perform before and they lived up to expectations and then some. A few nice touches with Tasita and the male vocalist getting involved on the dancefloor and riling the crowd up put the cherry on the cake. If you need a Choir/Wedding Band you need look no further.

We had Tas and Stu for our church ceremony and evening reception. We had chosen a song that really meant something to us (kissing you- deseree) for our walk down the Isle song, so we're quite reluctant at first to have anybody sing it! But because we knew what an amazing voice Tas had, and how Stu was a stevie wonder on those keys, we thought that there was no way it wouldnt sound the same.... But it wasn't just that, it was BETTER than either of us could have imagined. That feeling, walking to the top of the alter, shaking with nerves, overcome with emotion, my dad in tears and pretty much all of our guests in tears too lol, that was the effect Tas' vocals had on everybody. It was all emotional tears of joy and love and I truely feel that If we didn't have them both perform that song for us, the emotional connection we all felt wouldn't have been the same. You both truly made our wedding special.
Along with that, they sang and played a few other songs that were just as amazing during the ceremony, which bought it all together.
And on to the evening, along with the other band members they bought the evening to life with entertainment! And at one point I was confused with the schedule not knowing what we were doing next, and to my ease, Tas announced what was happening, the cake cutting, the first dance which really helped us get into the swing of the celebrations! They are all so helpful, very professional and a joy to have perform! I would recommend Tru Groove to anybody wanting any type of music for any type of event because they cater for all.
Thank you again for making our memories one of a kind and still to this day everyone is still talking about the church!! Xx
